Welcome to my 2023 class calendar page! Currently I operate 3 study groups located in West LA, North Hollywood, and Oak Park San Diego. There will be 5-7 themed sessions spread throughout the year at each of these locations. The San Diego and North Hollywood groups will be run in a full day workshop format, while the West LA group at Yamaguchi Bonsai Nursey will offer a morning and afternoon session. West LA Study Group – Session 1, Morning

| $50The first study group session for Yamaguchi Bonsai Nursery will be run on January 22th. There will be a morning and afternoon slot, feel free to sign up for just one or both. Session cost is $50–please RSVP with me to secure your slot!
We are nearing the end of winter this time of year and will soon enter spring. At this time we can do repotting (for both coniferous and deciduous species), wiring/styling of trees (but no heavy bending at this time), as well as grafting (scion, thread, and approach!) I’d like to center this session around structural work on deciduous trees, which we can address for both roots and branches! But other applicable work is welcome too.
