30+ year old “Mikawa Yatsubusa” variety Japanese maple. Old primary branching with interesting movement. A successful ground layer is on-going to further improve the root flare quality. The rinka variety Yamaaki pot is quite rare in this variation and valuable also.

Super vigorous, old coast redwood originally from Bob Shimon. Major repot was done removing old soil and well established in clean mix. Old deadwood and interesting double trunk feature with large base. Potted in a very high quality, clean bodied maruhei pot. All the prep work is done to get the tree very strong, it is ready to be worked and styled.
